Fund Raising Dinner a Great Success

September 2, 2010

Not the kinda of headline I normally write, but true none the less.  My sister Joy organized a dinner at the Gates Mills hunt club.  About 62 attended.  It was a great time.  The entrée was Alaskan Salmon, with  risotto and mixed grilled vegetables.  The dessert was raspberries covered with a sweet sauce.  My brother-in-law, Mark, played the piano.  Mark could be a professional musician; he’s that good.

My son Jim, a karate black belt, tried showing off at one point.  That’s him in the headlock.  I was happy he didn’t resist too much, he could probably kick my butt.  Boys will be boys!

Julie wanted a picture of everyone all dressed up, so that’s here as well.
